Quilted Collage Embellishment: Beads and More!  

Audience: Adults and older kids 
Suggested Schedule: 6-7 hour day workshop or 6 week / 12 hour class 

Once a quilt or quilt collage is made, the part I find most interesting begins -- the surface embellishment! The overall design of a quilted art piece can be developed and enhanced with stitches, fibers, and most beautifully, beads! This workshop or class will include instruction in planning, selecting, and applying materials, and using several different embellishment techniques. Depending on workshop length, participants can work on a piece they created or can make samples for future reference.  This part of the process is meditative and quite addicting, and can make such a difference to the overall feel of a textile piece.  Come see why! ​​
