Stitch Studio: Free-Motion Machine Drawing 

Audience: Adults  
Suggested Schedule: Short workshop or 6 week / 12 hour class 

This class will get you started with free motion embroidery on a sewing machine! You can begin with experiments and then tackle a project based on a line drawing or photograph that is prepared in advance for you. You will learn how to set up your machine for this kind of stitching, materials you can use, and things to consider when choosing a design. You'll learn ways of preparing images on fabric for stitching using both drawing and computer printing.  Participants will need to have a sewing machine that can free-motion stitch for this workshop.
